For a long time, I have always worried about my finances not knowing that taking control would be such a simple but effective option. If you ask me how much I spend, and where my money goes, I would never in a million years be able to tell you. When I want something, I buy it without too much thought of any consequences and then worry when I don’t think I have enough money.
I have decided I need to take more interest and control in where my money is going, and how I view finance as a whole. I give credit to a brilliant video on YouTube from Nischa who explained a great four-step routine to financial freedom, be sure to check it out if you want simple and effective information on how to budget effectively.
The main ideas of the video broke down how simple it is to construct a straightforward and relative budgeting plan. I have created a spreadsheet which deconstructs my finances into four sections being;
* Fundamentals
* Fun
* Future Investment
* Other
Even though I have created this budgeting spreadsheet just earlier today, I already feel a weight off my shoulders when it comes to my financial freedom. This seems overreaching, but hopefully this is a positive turn in my journey with money and I would urge anyone who has similar feelings to take this stance also.
